Nasceu em outubro de 1979, à beira da Ria Formosa, em Faro, numa família cheia de mulheres. Cedo se questionou sobre o papel da mulher na sociedade e por que razão os livros de História nunca mencionavam mulheres. Até hoje não conseguiu responder a estas questões, apesar da licenciatura em História. Com tendência para mudar de poiso de 10 em 10 anos: a última vez, farta de gente, saiu de Berlim direitinha para um monte alentejano, onde vive com o seu companheiro, filha e os seus dois cães bebés, o Johnny e o Cash. Já teve milhões de ofícios. O que mais gosta é o de ser autora e dedicar-se à educação das crianças para o feminismo. Em 2018 publicou o seu primeiro livro para crianças, Portuguesas com M grande e em 2019 a coleção infantil Sarita Rebelde – os livros de princesas sempre lhe provocaram urticária. Feminismo de A a Ser, o seu segundo livro, tenta (com dificuldade) educar adultos. A sua frase preferida é: Morra o patriarcado, morra! Pim!

Our market will be even larger than last one and our sellers secretly told us they will bring the best selection of blink, blink dresses and gowns to get your Silvester night (New Years Eve) more glamorous and sparkling than ever.

This will be our last appointment for this year. After a short winter break – in January – we’ll be there for your delight again on the 5th of February.

Yes, we’re aware that one need nice clothes for Fall, so we’ll arranged the perfect market for you to look amazingly vintage next season. Come visit us at the Ballhaus Berlin for some vintage affairs.

Are you READY for tomorrow?!
This is the LAST MARKET before our summer break, so make sure you come and check out all the wonderful things on sale, watch an amazing performance, eat some delish food, listen to some cool old music and drink yourself silly!!

Weather looks good, warm, not overly sunny, PERFECT to spend it on the vintage island in Mitte! 🙂

Doors open at 11, circus performer on stage at 14, lindy hop teaser class on the dancer floor at 15:00 and records spinning and the best vintage shopping Berlin as to offer until 18.
